Level 2 BSL Teaching Assistant Location: Camden Pay: £95-£115 per day Start: Immediate Contract: Full Time / Long Term Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a Level 2 BSL Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Camden. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant with BSL Level 2 to support students with hearing impairments and help them access learning, communicate confidently and thrive within the school environment. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team, providing tailored support both in the classroom and through 1:1 or small-group interventions. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with hearing impairments Use BSL to support communication between students, staff and peers Help students access lessons and learning activities Adapt and prepare resources where required Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO and support staff Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment Requirements: BSL Level 2 qualification - essential Previous experience working with children or young people Experience within an educational setting is desirable Good understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice Patient, proactive and dependable approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply If you are a dedicated BSL Teaching Assistant looking for an immediate opportunity in Camden and want to make a genuine difference to student's education, we would love to hear from you.
