Job Opportunity: CNC Lathe Operator / Setter 🌟 📍 Bridgwater 💷 Competitive Salary + Overtime 🕐 Double Days: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm We’re looking for a CNC Lathe Operator / Setter to join a busy manufacturing team in Bridgwater. This is a great opportunity for someone with genuine CNC turning experience who can operate machines confidently and carry out basic setting work. 🔧 About the Role • Operate CNC lathes across multiple machines • Change programs, tools and adjust offsets • Carry out basic setting and first-off checks • Work across two machines simultaneously • Read technical drawings and check dimensions • Maintain quality and production standards • Progress onto more complex work with training 🎯 What We’re Looking For • Hands-on CNC turning experience – essential • Able to operate CNC machinery independently • Some setting experience / understanding of offsets and tooling • Fanuc experience preferred, but other controls such as Mazak or Heidenhain considered • Comfortable working across multiple machines • Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn • Strong team player with a desire to progress 🚀 Why Join? • Strong and growing workload • Clear progression opportunities • Full training and development • Overtime available • 4% potential annual bonus • 4+ weeks' holiday + bank holidays • Christmas shutdown • Opportunity to develop into more advanced CNC work You don't need years of experience — ability, attitude and a genuine CNC background are what matter. 📩 Interested?
