Fire Door & Passive Fire Protection Engineer Peterborough £35,000 - £50,000 Jenson Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door & Passive Fire Protection Engineer to join a growing specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in fire door inspections and installations, passive fire protection and remedial works, looking to develop their career within a well-established organisation. The Role: * Install, maintain, and repair fire doors in line with current regulations and third-party certification requirements. * Carry out fire stopping and compartmentation works, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards. * Conduct fire door and passive fire surveys, identifying defects, non-compliances, and required remedial actions. * Identify defects and recommend appropriate remedial solutions * Complete detailed reports and documentation * Ensure all works comply with relevant British Standards and industry regulations * Liaise with clients, contractors and other site personnel * Travel to various commercial and residential sites as required The Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience within fire doors and/or passive fire protection * Good understanding of relevant fire safety standards and legislation * Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail * Able to complete accurate reports and documentation * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Full UK driving licence * Relevant fire door/passive fire qualifications would be advantageous This is a great opportunity to join a growing business with excellent long-term career prospects
