We're working with a leading Bristol-based manufacturer looking to strengthen their engineering team with an NPI Manufacturing Engineer who can play a key role in driving new product launches, optimising manufacturing processes, and ensuring products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards. The Role: Lead NPI and product industrialisation projects. Develop manufacturing processes, tooling and production methods. Support prototype, pilot and production builds. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and SOPs. Work closely with Engineering, Production and suppliers. Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving activities. Support product launches and production ramp-up. Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and cost. Define production capacity, cycle times and resource requirements. Ensure products are designed and released for efficient manufacture. What we are looking for: HND or Degree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. Significant experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing or production engineering environment. Proven experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within a manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process validation, PFMEA, Control Plans, and APQP methodologies. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
