We’re looking for an Adult Learning - Partnerships & Engagement Officer to join our friendly Adult Learning and Commercial Enterprise team. This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll work with employers, community groups, learners and colleagues across the College to help create and deliver great opportunities for adults across Wiltshire. You don’t need to know everything about adult learning or funding already — we’ll give you the training you need. What matters most is that you’re organised, approachable, good with people and happy to get stuck in. Your day-to-day will include: * Working with employers and local organisations to understand what training they need * Building great relationships with our partners and communities * Going to employer and community events across Wiltshire * Helping people enrol onto courses * Checking paperwork and making sure everything is correct * Supporting funding and compliance requirements * Helping the team meet learner recruitment targets * Supporting lecturers, Heads of Faculties and other College teams * Helping us develop new courses and training opportunities * Promoting our adult learning offer to employers, communities and potential learners * Supporting new business and income opportunities In short, you’ll help connect people, employers and learning opportunities. What kind of person are we looking for? You may already have experience in adult learning, training, education, business development or employer engagement, although this isn’t essential. What matters most is that you’re someone who: * Is friendly, confident and approachable * Enjoys talking to different people and building relationships * Is organised and good at keeping on top of things * Has a good eye for detail * Is comfortable checking information and paperwork * Can work on your own but also enjoys being part of a team * Is confident explaining courses and opportunities to others * Likes solving problems and getting things done * Is happy travelling around Wiltshire for meetings and events A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role. Experience of further education or funded training would be great, but it isn't essential. Why this role matters Adult learning can change lives.
