Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our client’s reputable dealership located in North West London. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a modern, state-of-the-art workshop within a forward-thinking company committed to excellence. The Diagnostic Technician will play a key role in diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, including hybrid and electric models.
Benefits of a Diagnostic Technician:
Starting basic salary of £40,000 per annum, with an uncapped earning potential of up to £55,000 including bonus and overtime
Opportunity to work in a newly built, fully equipped workshop with the latest diagnostic technology
Monday to Friday working hours, 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
1 in 3 Saturdays, 8.30 am – 12.30 pm, paid at time and a half

Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues across a wide range of vehicles, including hybrids and EVs
Use specialised diagnostic tools and software to identify faults accurately
Maintain detailed service and repair records with clear communication of findings to colleagues and customers
Ensure all work complies with health, safety standards, and quality procedures
Assist in maintaining the workshop’s high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Keep abreast of automotive technology advancements and diagnostic procedures
Support team members with technical guidance as requiredRequirements of a Diagnostic Technician:
Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician in a busy automotive environment
Strong understanding of vehicle systems with diagnostic expertise
Qualification in hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics is advantageous
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
Capable of working effectively within a team and managing multiple tasks efficiently
