Warehouse Operative Glasgow £Competitive + Benefits Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a large and well-established wholesale food business in Glasgow to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join their busy distribution operation. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, picking and despatch of food products to customers across the UK. The Role: * Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently. * Loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring stock is handled safely and correctly. * Checking incoming and outgoing goods against relevant documentation. * Moving and storing stock within the warehouse in line with company procedures. * Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping and food hygiene. * Working closely with the wider warehouse and distribution team to ensure orders are dispatched on time. * Following all relevant Health & Safety, food safety and company procedures. * Supporting general warehouse duties as required. About You: * Previous warehouse, distribution or logistics experience would be beneficial. * Experience within a food, FMCG or wholesale environment would be advantageous. * Comfortable working in a busy, physically demanding environment. * Good attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy. * Reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in as part of a team. * Good communication skills and a positive attitude. * Flexible approach to working hours and warehouse requirements.
