Manufacturing Team Leader | Shop Floor Leadership | Up to £32,000
A well-established manufacturer near Petersfield is looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to run the day-to-day performance of its manufacturing area.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will organise the team, keep work moving through machining and manual production, and hold standards on quality, delivery and health & safety.
The role
* Lead and organise the team across machining, saws and manual preparation
* Allocate daily work and keep jobs moving through to the next stage
* Improve productivity and remove bottlenecks
* Maintain quality, safety and process standards
* Support coaching, feedback and development of the team
* Work with production, technical, maintenance and other departments
* Drive practical continuous improvement on the shop floor
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a manufacturing, machining or workshop environment
* Previous leadership or team leader experience
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Confidence organising people and priorities
* Ability to read drawings / technical information
