Sales Manager, Parcel Solutions UK Remote / Birmingham | Permanent | Up to £90,000 + car cash allowance About the opportunity Our client is a global market leader in parcel and postal sorting systems, baggage handling and warehouse automation, with a strong reputation for reliable project delivery, innovation and customer focus. As the business continues to grow, an excellent opportunity has opened for a Sales Manager to join the UK Parcel Solutions team and play a central role in that growth. The role Working within the UK Parcel Solutions team, you will build and develop strong relationships with key parcel customers while generating new business. You will lead the full tender process on project and service opportunities, shaping the right solution for each customer and presenting it directly to them. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and growing relationships with key parcel customers across the UK Leading and managing matrixed teams through the tender process for project and service opportunities Managing multi-disciplined teams across scope definition, design and programme planning to determine the best value-add solution Working with the UK Contracts Manager to negotiate terms and conditions on project opportunities Presenting solutions to customers, including pricing, products, systems layout and how the proposed system will operate Building effective relationships across UK and global teams to ensure customer expectations are exceededWhat we are looking for Experience in automation within an engineering or manufacturing environment Knowledge of the UK parcel market and customer operations is preferred Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills The ability to interpret technical drawings, which is essential for this role Flexibility to travel across Europe as and when required Confident user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordWhat is on offer Up to £90,000 basic salary Car cash allowance 28 days annual leave, excluding public holidays Private medical cover Wellbeing membership with fast access to GP appointments and health rewards Company pension scheme Cycle to work scheme Recognition platform with points redeemable against a range of goods and discounts A challenging environment with strong opportunities for career progressio The role is primarily remote, with a Birmingham base for team collaboration and some travel as required
