Job Title: Voids Carpenter Multi-Trade Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Job Category: Property Services Location: Oxford Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm Salary: £24.00 - £25.00 per hour We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Voids Carpenter Multi-Trade to join a growing housing contractor, working in partnership with housing associations across Oxford and Reading. Responsibilities: Carrying out reactive and planned carpentry and general maintenance works within void properties. Completing carpentry works including repairing and replacing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchen units, and flooring. Undertaking minor multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, plaster patching, wall repairs, tiling, and general making-good works to ensure properties are fully prepared for occupation. Identifying and completing required repairs efficiently, ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard and within agreed timescales. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment throughout each property, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations. Using a PDA to manage daily tasks, record job updates, capture relevant information, and accurately complete and close works. Operating and maintaining tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring they are kept in good working condition.
