Rate: £450 per day Outside IR35 Location: Chippenham Contract: 9 months Start: ASAP Are you an experienced Supervisor holding either CAT 3 authorisation or National Grid Competent Person status looking for your next contract opportunity within the Energy Transmission & Distribution sector? We are recruiting for a Supervisor to join an ongoing substation project in the Chippenham area. You will be based on the project for the duration of the contract, reporting directly to the Project Manager. Job Role Supervising works and day-to-day site activities across the project Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with site procedures Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day delivery Coordinating site teams, contractors and subcontractors Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with project and client requirements Requirements Valid CAT 3 authorisation OR National Grid Competent Person – essential SSSTS – essential First Aid – essential Manual Handling – desirable Previous experience supervising works across power, utilities or infrastructure projects Previous substation experience would be highly advantageous SSE or National Grid experience would be beneficial This is an ASAP start, with work expected to continue until May 2027. The role will be based on the Chippenham project for the duration and offers £450 per day Outside IR35. We are interviewing for this position immediately.
