My client was established in 2009 and is seen as a world-leading OEM across a number of Engineering industries.   As the IT Service Desk Technician, you are responsible for being the first point of contact for users experiencing any IT problems, assisting with a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues. This individual will diagnose and resolve problems, guide users through solutions, and manage service desk tickets within defined service level agreements. What we would like from the IT Service Desk Technician: An open and positive character who is looking to learn new skills Someone who is happy to take on new tasks but can ask for help when required Has some experience of Microsoft Office, Windows and Active Directory Has a basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP Has a basic understanding of virtualisation technologies and principles Understands the importance of cybersecurity principles and their application Is happy to work independently or collaborate effectively with other IT teams Willing to work flexibly, as workloads dictate, including out-of-hours when required  What we offer the IT Service Desk Technician: Salary between £38,000 to £43,000 doe Annual bonus 25 days annual leave Christmas shutdown Private Medical Care 5.5% employer pension contribution and uncapped for the employee Life Insurance Car Scheme  If this opportunity as an IT Service Desk Technician is of interest to you, don’t hesitate to get in touch asap!
