Maintenance Engineer Overview We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team based in Aldridge. This Maintenance Engineer position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the maintenance and repair of fabrication machinery while ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently. Daily Duties As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fabrication machinery * Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults * Maintaining accurate maintenance records and service schedules Skills Needed Successful Maintenance Engineer candidates will have: * Previous engineering maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment * Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills * Experience working with industrial machinery * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable experience includes: * Fabrication machinery experience * Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or 18th Edition * Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery * IOSH or other Health & Safety qualifications Salary and Benefits Working as a Maintenance Engineer, you will receive: * £42,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience and hours worked * Full-time position, 40 to 45 hours per week * Company pension scheme * Training and development opportunities * Supportive and friendly working environment * Long-term career prospects If you are an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity in Aldridge and have a strong background in machinery maintenance and engineering, we would love to hear from you.
