We are recruiting a reliable and hardworking Timber Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Ashford. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available, offering long-term prospects for the right candidate. The role * Assemble timber products and components * Measure, cut and prepare timber materials * Use hand and power tools safely * Follow drawings, specifications and instructions * Check finished products for quality * Maintain a clean and safe working area * Work effectively as part of a production team The ideal candidate * Previous timber, assembly, manufacturing or construction experience would be beneficial * Comfortable carrying out practical, hands-on work * Able to perform physical tasks and work accurately * Reliable, punctual and willing to learn * A good understanding of workplace health and safety * Own transport is essential due to the location Hours * Monday to Friday, daytime hours * 43 hours per week * Optional overtime available This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team in a stable, full-time role, with the potential to secure a permanent position and increase your earnings through overtime.
