My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a water treatment scheme in Taunton, with a start available Monday. The project involves tunnelling and shaft construction, so previous experience in these areas is essential. Site Manager Responsibilities: * Managing day-to-day site operations * Supervising subcontractors and site teams * Managing tunnelling and shaft works * Toolbox talks * Client and stakeholder liaison * Health and safety compliance * Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification * Monitoring quality and maintaining site records * Reporting progress to the Project Manager Site Manager Requirements: * Black or Gold CSCS * SMSTS * Previous water treatment experience is essential * Previous tunnelling and shaft experience is essential * Strong civil engineering background * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams * Good understanding of temporary works and deep excavations * IT literate * Full UK driving licence The next steps to apply for the role!
