Year 2 Primary Teacher - Southwark Location: Southwark, South East London Position: Year 2 Primary Teacher Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: ASAP Pay: £180-£220 per day Remedy Education are looking for an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Southwark. The school is looking for a confident and enthusiastic teacher who can take responsibility for a Year 2 class and provide engaging lessons while supporting pupils academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging Year 2 lessons Teaching across the KS1 curriculum Assessing and monitoring pupil progress Differentiating lessons to meet individual learning needs Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of staff Supporting pupils as they prepare for their transition into KS2 Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleaguesRequirements: QTS is essential Previous primary school teaching experience is essential Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum Confident classroom and behaviour management Ability to plan engaging and differentiated lessons Reliable, organised and committed to pupil progressIf you have any questions please call (phone number removed) or ask for Dylan at Remedy Education
