Mechanical Design Engineer Chinnor Full Time, Permanent £45,000 - £55,000 We’re working with an established and innovative engineering business in Oxfordshire, operating within a highly regulated, specialist manufacturing environment and delivering technically advanced products to global customers. This is a great opportunity to join a hands-on engineering team and take projects from concept → design → development → production. What you’ll be doing as a Mechanical Design Engineer 3D CAD design & development Detailed drawings, BOMs & engineering documentation Design for manufacture & assembly Engineering change & configuration control CNC/manufacturing data Prototype, testing & validation support NPI and design reviews DFMEA and design risk management Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality & customers What we’re looking for in a Mechanical Design Engineer Experienced Mechanical/Design Engineer Strong 3D CAD experience — SolidWorks, Solid Edge, CATIA or similar Experience with manufacturing/CNC processes Strong understanding of engineering drawings & BOMs Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience Ideally from aerospace, advanced manufacturing, composites or another regulated environment If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence products from initial concept through to production, this could be a great next step.
