The Role As a Precision Machining Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of machining and associated production processes to manufacture high-quality precision components. Key Duties Mount and machine precision components. Clean and finish completed work. Inspect and check components to ensure they meet required standards. Read and work from engineering drawings and work instructions. Follow established production processes and quality procedures. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and COSHH compliance. Support other associated production activities as required. Requirements Previous experience within a machining or precision engineering environment would be advantageous, although full training may be available for the right candidate. Ideally, you will have: A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Engineering or a similar discipline. Some practical engineering or machining experience. The ability to read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions. Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work. A positive, reliable and flexible approach to work. A strong understanding of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment. Interested?
