Legal Cashier 💷 Competitive Salary 📍 Located in Walsall Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a well-established and reputable law firm. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar Legal Cashier role within a law firm and possess a strong working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules. 📝 Key Responsibilities * Processing client receipts received in person and over the telephone * Checking online banking and allocating payments to client ledgers * Preparing daily banking and arranging bank deposits * Posting receipts and payments to client ledgers * Producing weekly new matter reports for Heads of Department * Preparing Priority and BACS payments and obtaining relevant approvals * Processing cheque requests through the case management system * Preparing client ledger and time breakdown reports * Checking completion statements * Processing client invoices through the case management system * Managing purchase ledger invoices and preparing payment runs * Providing cover for colleagues during periods of absence * Supporting the Finance Manager with additional duties as required ✅ Skills & Experience Required * Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm * Good working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Excel * Ability to clearly explain financial information * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Strong accuracy and problem-solving skills 🎁 Benefits * Competitive market-rate salary * 29 days holiday including Bank Holidays and the day after Boxing Day * Firm-wide bonus scheme * Birthday day off * Collaborative and supportive working environment #TeamTudor looks forward to hearing from you
