Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Barnsley Salary: £48,336.70 per annum, including shift allowance Shift Pattern: 4-Shift Rota Shifts: * 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday * 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday * 10pm – 6am, Monday to Friday * 6am – 4pm, Thursday to Sunday The Role Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Barnsley, who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their busy engineering team. Key Responsibilities * Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and plant. * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM). * Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns. * Fault-find on mechanical systems, including gearboxes. * Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. * Maintain accurate records using the CMMS system. About You * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline. * Minimum 4 years' industrial maintenance experience. * Previous manufacturing or engineering experience. * Good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. * Experience using CMMS systems.
