Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Location: Taunton, Bridgwater & Highbridge Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Contract: Permanent | Full-time Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:00pm An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a leading national asbestos and environmental consultancy covering the Somerset region. This position offers a strong combination of localised work, minimal overnight stays and a four-day working week, alongside excellent opportunities to progress into Senior Surveyor, Project Management and Auditing positions. Salary & Benefits Competitive salary package Monday-Thursday working week Localised workload with minimal overnight stays Enhanced company pension Life assurance - up to 4x salary Option to purchase up to 5 additional days' holiday Employee share schemes High-street, retail and gym discounts Virtual GP service Cycle-to-work scheme Financial wellbeing support Extensive training and development opportunities Clear career progression The Role Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 Undertaking asbestos sampling and reinspection surveys Conducting air monitoring and 4-stage clearance procedures in accordance with HSG248 Working across domestic, commercial and industrial properties Producing accurate asbestos survey reports and drawings Transporting samples to approved UKAS-accredited laboratories Providing clients with specialist asbestos advice and technical support Liaising with clients, project managers, quality teams and operational staff Maintaining high technical and professional standards throughout all work About You BOHS P402 or equivalent - essential BOHS P403 & P404 or equivalent - essential Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying and analytical procedures Experience across domestic, commercial and/or industrial properties Good understanding of HSG264 and HSG248 Full UK driving licence - essential Professional and confident when dealing with clients Why This Role?
