Description

We have a role for a temporary administrator for our client based in Aberdeen. This role will last for a minimum of 5 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, coordinating communications, and assisting with day-to-day office functions. Previous experience within a logistics, transport or warehousing is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to the management and operations teams. Maintain and update employee, driver, customer, and operational records. Process timesheets, attendance records, and payroll-related documentation. Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally. Input and maintain data accurately within company systems and databases. Update reports, spreadsheets, and other documents as required. Ensure compliance with company procedures and data protection requirements. File and archive documents both electronically and manually. Assist with customer queries and provide excellent customer service. Support operational planning and daily logistics administration where required. Essential Requirements Previous administrative experience. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional and friendly approach when dealing with colleagues, customers, and candidates. Desirable Requirements Previous experience in a logistics, transport, warehousing, or recruitment agency environment. Experience processing timesheets, payroll administration, or workforce scheduling. Familiarity with transport management systems, recruitment databases, or workforce management software. Knowledge of driver compliance documentation and onboarding processes. Personal Attributes Reliable and dependable. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
