Plater / Plater Welder - Structural Steel Location: Winsford Pay: £17.73 PAYE / £23.09 per hour CIS or Umbrella Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:45am - 4:45pm | Friday: 7:45am - 12:45pm Day Shift | Immediate Starts Available We are currently recruiting experienced Platers / Plater Welders to join a busy structural steel fabrication shop in Winsford. This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served Plater with experience working within medium to heavy structural engineering, offering competitive rates and an early finish every Friday. Duties include: Plating and fabrication of medium to heavy structural steel Working from structural engineering drawings MIG welding mild steel and thick plate Working with plate thicknesses up to 20mm Measuring, marking out and preparing materials for fabrication Producing work accurately to required tolerances Maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the fabrication shop What We're Looking For: Must be time-served Previous medium to heavy structural engineering experience Strong plating and fabrication experience Ability to read and work from structural drawings Confident MIG welding thick mild steel plate Able to complete a trade test prior to starting.
