Mechanical Design Engineer Norwich, Norfolk £55,000 to £60,000 per annum Service Service is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a well-established engineering business in Norwich. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering mechanical design solutions across a range of technically challenging projects. Key Responsibilities * Produce mechanical designs, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering documentation * Develop solutions involving mechanical structures, rotating drives, and control systems * Modify and maintain existing designs, datasheets, and technical documentation * Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure projects are delivered on time * Collaborate with production, project management, and supply chain teams * Attend design reviews and produce technical reports About You * HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent * Proven experience in a mechanical design engineering role * Strong experience producing complex engineering drawings and 3D models * Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD * Knowledge of working to industry standards and regulations * Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams and with stakeholders What’s on Offer * Salary up to £60,000 per annum * 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday * Opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting projects * Supportive team environment with scope for development This is a great opportunity to join a growing engineering business where you can play a key role in delivering design solutions while continuing to develop your career.
