Newgen Commercials Ltd is looking for an experienced HGV Trailer Technician to join our team. If you’re a hands-on technician who can work independently, diagnose faults confidently and take pride in doing the job properly, we’d love to hear from you! 🔧 🔧 The Role Your responsibilities will include: ✅ Inspecting, servicing and maintaining trailers ✅ Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and air system faults ✅ Carrying out brake repairs and adjustments ✅ Diagnosing ABS/EBS faults ✅ Maintaining suspension, axles, hubs and running gear ✅ Repairing curtains, doors, bodywork and other trailer components ✅ Preparing trailers to a high roadworthy standard ✅ Completing inspection sheets and job paperwork accurately ✅ Identifying defects and reporting any additional work required ✅ Maintaining a clean and safe working environment 👨‍🔧 What We’re Looking For ✔️ Previous HGV trailer technician experience (essential) ✔️ Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills ✔️ Knowledge of commercial vehicle and trailer maintenance standards ✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team ✔️ Full UK driving licence ✔️ Reliable, organised and professional approach ✔️ IRTEC accreditation (advantageous, but not essential) 🎯 What We Offer 💷 £18.00 per hour 📅 Monday–Friday daytime working 📋 Full-time permanent position ⏱️ Overtime opportunities where available 🏦 Company pension 🅿️ On-site parking 🍽️ Canteen 💚 Health and wellbeing programme 📈 Stable employment with a growing commercial vehicle business
