The Company Our client are specialists in their market sector; they are now looking to recruit a Document Controller. The Role * You will be responsible for coordinating, packaging and issuing client submittals for engineering projects. * Project Documentation, coordinate and compile project documentation from internal and external stakeholders into structured, submittal-compliant packages in line with contractual and specification requirements. * Coordinate with suppliers and third parties to obtain required technical documentation, ensuring completeness, compliance and alignment with project deliverables. * Document Submission, issue and manage project documentation within the Client Document Management System ensuring accurate metadata, traceability and adherence to agreed document control procedures. * Administer document workflows within CDMS, including submission, revision control, review cycles, and approval tracking, ensuring timely progression through all stages. * Provide support to document control activities, including the preparation and issuance of manufacturing and construction documentation packages where required. * Quality Control and Efficiency, identify and escalate gaps, inconsistencies, or non-compliances within submittal packages to relevant stakeholders, driving resolution to maintain project schedule and quality standard. * Being open to tasks that require additional training and actively working on broadening your knowledge. * Responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing, and analysing data. * Reporting the data and making recommendations where necessary * Providing timely and accurate information. The Person * Excellent computer skills, i.e., SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. * Experience using document management systems/portals. * Ability to understand, interpret and communicate engineering drawings. * Ability to create document submittal packages. * Good understanding of project execution processes. * Has strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to work. * Highly organised and has a high level of accuracy.
