Maintenance Engineer Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Weymouth, Dorset Salary: £46,000 per annum Shift: Double Days  Overtime: Available Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business operating a highly automated production facility. This role would suit a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault finding, maintenance, and working on a variety of industrial machinery within a stable and supportive environment. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown repairs across a range of specialist production and packaging equipment. Working as part of a small engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining plant reliability and minimising downtime. This position offers excellent job security, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work with unique manufacturing machinery in a fast-paced production environment. Sector – Manufacturing  Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Engineering qualification  Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer Electrical engineering qualification. Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery. Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Multi-skilled maintenance background. Experience working on printing, packaging, converting, or automated production equipment. Machinery Worked On Printing machines Printing presses Strapping lines Laminators Packaging machinery Typical Faults Drives Sensors Relays PLC systems Electrical control components The Maintenance Engineer Will Benefit From Salary of £41,160 per annum.
