Multi Trader – Social Housing Location: Essex & East London Pay: £20–£24 per hour PAYE Vehicle: Company van + fuel card provided Employment: Full-time, long-term opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a social housing maintenance team covering Essex and East London. The successful candidate must have a strong main trade in either Plumbing or Carpentry, along with good all-round maintenance skills. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs and general maintenance works across occupied and void social housing properties. Your duties will include: Carrying out repairs and maintenance in social housing properties Using your main trade of Plumbing or Carpentry Completing a variety of multi-trade repairs and maintenance tasks Diagnosing faults and carrying out appropriate repairs Working safely and professionally in tenants' homes Completing jobs to a high standard and within agreed timescales Maintaining accurate job records Providing a professional and customer-focused service to residents Requirements Previous experience as a Multi Trader / Maintenance Operative Main trade must be Plumbing or Carpentry Experience within social housing, housing maintenance or property repairs is highly desirable Good knowledge of general maintenance and repair work Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload Good communication and customer service skills What's on Offer £20–£24 per hour PAYE Company van provided Fuel card provided Full-time, long-term work Work across Essex and East London Opportunity to work within an established social housing maintenance team If you're an experienced Multi Trader with a Plumbing or Carpentry background and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a van and fuel card provided, we'd like to hear from you
