We, Academics, are looking for suitable candidates to support as Teaching Assistants for a number of our reputable schools in the Birmingham, B14 area and surrounding areas. This Teaching Assistant opportunity starts ASAP and is full-time role. Location: Kings Heath, B14 As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant your main responsibilities will consist of: Not only supporting pupils educational development but also managing and supporting the classroom alongside the designated teacher Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere in the classroom Providing tailored assistance for SEND pupils Monitoring students and reporting to designated teacher when needed De-escalating behavioural conflicts and recognising good behaviour in accordance with the schools policiesTeaching Assistant Requirements: Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service) Relevant qualifications or experience Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed Confidence and flexibility in working with both Year 1 & Year 2 classesIf the role of being a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant interests you, please apply through this advert or give us a call on (phone number removed) for any queries.
