We, Academics, are looking for suitable candidates to support as Teaching Assistants for a number of our reputable schools in the Birmingham, B14 area and surrounding areas. This Teaching Assistant opportunity starts ASAP and is full-time role. Location: Kings Heath, B14 As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant your main responsibilities will consist of: Not only supporting pupils educational development but also managing and supporting the classroom alongside the designated teacher Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere in the classroom Providing tailored assistance for SEND pupils Monitoring students and reporting to designated teacher when needed De-escalating behavioural conflicts and recognising good behaviour in accordance with the schools policiesTeaching Assistant Requirements: Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service) Relevant qualifications or experience Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed Confidence and flexibility in working with Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 & Year 6If the role of being a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant interests you, please apply through this advert or give us a call on (phone number removed) for any queries.
