Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Job Description We are currently recruiting a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents/service users. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting. * Support residents/service users with mobility and daily activities. * Assist with meals, hydration and general wellbeing. * Observe and report any changes in a resident’s health or condition to the nursing team. * Maintain dignity, privacy, independence and respect at all times. * Follow infection prevention, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures. * Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable care environment. * Work effectively as part of the nursing and healthcare team. * Complete required documentation accurately and promptly. Essential Requirements: * QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or an equivalent recognised qualification. * Must hold a valid visa/permission to work legally in Ireland. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Caring, compassionate and patient approach. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends where required
