As a Disrepair Surveyor, you'll focus on assessing and managing property disrepair cases to ensure housing standards are met. Based in Tamworth, this temporary role plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance and resolving property and housing issues effectively. Client Details This role is within a well known local authority based in Tamworth. Description Carry out detailed inspections of properties to identify disrepair issues. Section 11 Surveys, Awaab's Law and HHSRS focused Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations. Work closely with tenants and contractors to address and resolve disrepair concerns. Ensure compliance with relevant housing standards and regulations. Provide expert advice on building maintenance and repair solutions. Monitor progress of repair works to ensure timely completion. Maintain accurate records of inspections, actions, and outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams to manage cases effectively.Profile A successful Disrepair Surveyor should have: Professional qualifications or training in construction or building surveying. Strong knowledge of housing standards and disrepair legislation. Experience in property inspections and preparing detailed reports. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise tasks efficiently.Job Offer Hourly rate of up to £35ph PAYE or £40ph Umbrella dependent on the level of experience.
