Manufacturing Engineer - Process Engineer (Press & Weld) Location: Alcester Permanent / Contract: Permanent Overview EMBS is working in partnership with a precision manufacturing business in Alcester that is currently in the market for a process-driven Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on key production processes and tooling, centred on press and weld operations. It is not a programming-focused position, and would suit an experienced engineer with genuine depth of process knowledge rather than a junior candidate requiring close support. What's in it for you? Competitive salary: circa £50,000, dependent on experience Hours: Days * Hands-on process engineering role with genuine tooling design input * Work within an established, precision-focused manufacturing environment * Scope to bring real process expertise to bear, rather than junior-level support Your responsibilities will include: As Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide process-driven engineering support across key production processes and tooling. * Support and improve key production processes and tooling across the site * Apply strong process knowledge across press and weld operations * Contribute to press tool design work using SolidWorks * Work with press fabricated metal components and/or welding and fabrication processes similar to the client's operations * Provide day-to-day engineering input to production Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate: * Proven experience as a process-driven Manufacturing Engineer, with strong depth of knowledge across key production processes * Experience with press tool design using SolidWorks and/or significant hands-on experience with press-fabricated metal components * Experience with welding and fabrication processes would also suit the role well * Strong practical process knowledge; this is not a programming-focused position * Open to candidates from a range of relevant manufacturing backgrounds If you are interested in the opportunity of Manufacturing Engineer and believe you meet the illustrated criteria, apply today to join our client's growing team located in the Alcester.
