Production Engineer £35,000 - £40,000 per annum | Monday to Thursday | 4-Day Working Week We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join a busy manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of production and engineering issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions. You’ll play a key part in improving manufacturing processes, efficiency and overall production performance. Daily Duties of the Production Engineer * Take ownership of engineering problems from initial investigation through to solution. * Provide hands-on engineering support to production teams. * Investigate and resolve recurring production and manufacturing issues. * Develop and improve work instructions, processes and manufacturing documentation. * Support improvements to tooling, jigs and fixtures. * Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, NPI and Supply Chain teams. Skills Needed for the Production Engineer * Previous experience as a Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer. * Strong manufacturing and production experience. * Experience using CAD and engineering drawings. * Knowledge of tooling, jigs, fixtures and manufacturing processes. * Confident working directly with production teams to identify and resolve issues. Salary and Benefits * £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. * 4-day working week. * Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:15pm. * Hands-on position with the opportunity to make a real impact on manufacturing performance. * Opportunity to take ownership of engineering and continuous improvement projects.
