Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative/LLOP Driver for our client's distribution centre, which handles all white goods and furnitures. Staffline is recruting Warehouse Operatives/LLOP Drivers in Darlington. The rate of pay is: - Days £13.08 per hour - Nights £15.23 per hour Overtime is available and is paid at: - Days £19.62 per hour - Nights £22.84 per hour This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, 5 out of 7, and the hours of work are: - 6am to 2pm - 2pm to 10pm - 10pm to 6am Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include: - White Goods- heavy lifting is involved - Picking using a LLOP - Picking washing machines, dryers, fridge freezers, flat pack furniture, sofas, TVs, etc. - Returns- booking in stock, checking for damage, repacking - Loading and unloading trailers - Opportunities to be upskilled to become a truck driver - Drug and alcohol tests will be completed during registration as standard Our Perfect Worker What we're looking for: - Able to work as part of a team or individually - Effective communication - Able to achieve personal targets - Working following site safe systems - Time management and punctuality - Ability to remain on your feet and active for the majority of the shift - Ability to safely operate a LLOP truck - Manual handling of stock and warehouse equipment as required - Ability to wrap and secure stillages, including reaching, stretching and bending - Ability to push, pull and manoeuvre stock and warehouse equipment safely - Must be able to met the required visual standards for the role, with or without the use of prescription glasses or contact lenses Key Information and Benefits - Earn £13.08 - £22.84 per hour - Rotating shifts - Temp to perm opportunity - OnSite support from Staffline - Canteen on site - Free car parking on site - PPE provided - Full training provided - Opportunities for overtime Job Ref: 1DHLFV About Staffline Staffline is the UK's largest recruitment solutions partner, enabling over 35,000 people into good work every week.
