Location: Durham Salary: Up to £40,000 basic + bonus Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Job Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive business in Durham. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a stable Monday to Friday role within a professional workshop environment. The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a variety of vehicles. Duties will include: * Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance * Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults * Carrying out mechanical repairs to a high standard * Brake, suspension, steering and other component repairs * Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults * Completing vehicle inspections and safety checks * Working efficiently as part of a professional workshop team * Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety Requirements * Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential * Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician * Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills * Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Full UK driving licence What's on Offer * Up to £40,000 basic salary * Bonus scheme * Monday to Friday working hours * 40 hours per week * Permanent position * Professional workshop environment * Ongoing training and development opportunities
