Healthcare Assistant East Leake L12 £13.00 - £16.00 per hour Part Time | Days: 8:00am – 8:00pm | Nights: 8:00pm – 8:00am 2-3 shifts per week | Alternate weekends Required Join Apollo Home Healthcare Our client is a vibrant young woman in her late teens who lives at home with her family. As a healthcare Assistant, you will support her well-being, engage in her interests, and help her live life to the fullest. A genuine interest in her hobbies and a positive, enthusiastic approach is highly desirable. You will support her both at college and at home, assisting with learning, personal development, social activities, daily care needs, and encouraging independence. At night, you will provide attentive overnight care at home, meeting personal and clinical needs. This included offering reassurance, comfort, and support if she wakes during the night, ensuring she always feels safe and secure. Your Role as a Healthcare Assistant * Personal care * Preparing meals- full support with all meals and fluids * Moving and handling * Medication Administration * Assisting in the community * Supporting with household chores What You'll Need * Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK. * Have the right to work in the UK. * Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care. * Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required. * Confident with medication, personal care, mobbing and handling. * Pet friendly – our client does have a pet dog.
