Electrical Supervisor (Working Supervisor) Cardiff City Centre £32.00 per hour (CIS or Ltd Company) 18-Month Contract Immediate Start Available We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Working Supervisor to join a major mixed-use development in Cardiff city centre. Offering 18 months of secured work at £32 per hour, this role would suit an experienced Electrical Supervisor or Lead Electrician who is comfortable managing a team while remaining hands-on with the installation. This is a working supervisor position, not a purely management role. You will be expected to lead by example, coordinate electrical operatives on site and actively contribute to the installation works. The project is a substantial mixed-use commercial development comprising retail units, office space and residential accommodation, providing long-term work on a high-profile scheme. The Role * Supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors * Remaining hands-on and carrying out electrical installation work * Coordinating daily activities to ensure works remain on programme * Monitoring quality, productivity and health & safety standards * Conducting toolbox talks and site briefings * Liaising with site management and other trades * Ensuring installations are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications * Supporting testing, commissioning and final handover activities Requirements * ECS Gold Card * SSSTS qualification * Recognised electrical qualifications * Minimum 5 years' commercial electrical experience * Previous experience leading or supervising electrical teams * Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings * Excellent communication and organisational skills What's On Offer * £32.00 per hour * CIS or Ltd Company payment * 18-month contract * Long-term project stability * Cardiff city centre location * Immediate interviews available If you're an experienced Electrical Supervisor who enjoys remaining on the tools while leading a team and driving works forward, we'd like to hear from you
