CNC Programmer Brownhills | Day Shift | Negotiable Salary DOE Actio Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an established and growing precision engineering company in Brownhills in their search for both a CNC Programmer Turner and also a CNC Programmer Miller to join their skilled manufacturing team. The Role As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machine tools to manufacture precision-engineered components to exact specifications. Depending on your experience, you will be considered for either the Turner or Miller position. Key Responsibilities * Programming CNC machines online and/or offline. * Setting and operating CNC lathes or machining centres. * Producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances. * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. * Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods. * Performing first-off inspections and quality checks. * Troubleshooting machining issues and implementing corrective actions. * Working closely with production and quality teams to ensure deadlines are achieved. Candidate Requirements * Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter and Operator. * Experience with CNC turning or milling machinery. * Ability to work from engineering drawings. * Strong understanding of tooling, cutting parameters and machining processes. * Experience producing complex precision components. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Self-motivated with a positive and proactive approach.
