7.5T HGV Driver Location: Leicester Pay Rate: £13.85ph Hours: 06:00am - finish Shift: Monday–Friday - odd Saturday Job Type: Permanent Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T HGV Driver to join our client, a busy and well-established fruit and vegetable wholesaler. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver looking for regular, ongoing work with a friendly and professional company. 🚚 The Role * Driving a 7.5T vehicle delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to customers * Completing multiple deliveries throughout the day * Loading and unloading goods * Checking delivery notes and ensuring orders are delivered accurately * Providing excellent customer service at each delivery * Carrying out daily vehicle checks * Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time 👤 The Ideal Candidate * Valid 7.5T / Category C1 licence * CPC and Digi Tachograph * Previous commercial driving experience * Multi-drop delivery experience preferred * Experience within fresh produce, food or wholesale distribution would be an advantage * Physically fit, as some manual handling is involved * Reliable, punctual and professional * Good communication and customer service skills 💷 What We Offer * Competitive hourly rate * Regular and ongoing work * Consistent hours * Support from the Driver Hire team * Opportunity for the right candidate to secure longer-term work Interested?
