Recruitment Consultant 12-Month Maternity Cover Location: Leicester, LE3 3AW Contract: Temporary – 12 months Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:30–17:30 Pay: £13.50 per hour, depending on experience The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to join our Local Distribution team. You will build strong relationships with clients and candidates, find suitable candidates for temporary and permanent roles, and provide a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, candidates and colleagues. * Manage and support the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates through to placement and ongoing worker support. * Provide consultative support and advice to clients and candidates. * Manage areas including legislative compliance, contract governance, worker care, payroll and pre-employment screening. * Complete regular reporting and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. * Work independently and as part of a team to deliver recruitment solutions and maximise existing and new opportunities. * Meet and exceed agreed sales and delivery targets, contributing to individual, team, departmental and client budgets. * Work to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). * Follow company guidelines, processes and procedures at all times. * Support continuous improvement across the service and recruitment process. About You We’re looking for someone who is: * Friendly, confident and approachable. * Proactive and enthusiastic. * A strong communicator with good relationship-building skills. * Commercially aware, with good negotiation skills. * Organised and able to manage multiple priorities. * Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs. * Able to work independently and as part of a team. * Experienced in recruitment, sales or customer service would be an advantage.
