Sports Coach – Cover Supervisor - Chelmsford Full Time | Immediate Start | Excellent Route into Teaching Gold Education Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chelmsford, who are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Sports Coach to work as a Cover Supervisor, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sports Graduate, Sports Coach, PE professional, aspiring teacher, or someone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience and begin a career in education. The Role As a Sports Coach working as a Cover Supervisor, you will: * Supervise lessons across KS3 and KS4 using pre-prepared lesson materials. * Support students with their learning and ensure they remain focused and engaged. * Use your coaching experience to encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and motivation. * Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally. * Build positive relationships with students and staff. * Provide support and guidance to students during lessons. * Gain valuable experience working within a secondary school environment. * Be flexible and adaptable, covering a range of subjects when required. Who We Are Looking For The school would particularly welcome applications from: * Sports Graduates and Sports Coaches. * PE graduates or individuals with a strong sporting background. * Aspiring teachers looking to gain school-based experience. * Sports professionals with experience coaching children or young people. * Individuals who have worked in clubs, academies, schools or youth settings. * Confident communicators who can engage and motivate secondary-aged students. * Candidates with a positive, professional and enthusiastic approach. * Individuals who are confident managing behaviour or keen to develop these skills. * Reliable, flexible and adaptable team players. You do not need to be a qualified teacher for this role. Your ability to motivate young people, build relationships and create a positive environment will be highly valued.
