Mechanical Engineer – Facilities Maintenance – York An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established facilities maintenance contract in York, working on a prestigious and iconic site in the heart of the city. We are looking for a proactive Mechanical Engineer to deliver a high standard of planned and reactive maintenance across a varied and interesting portfolio, working alongside a friendly, established team of engineers. This is a fantastic chance for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a site with real character, in a supportive team environment. The role: * PPMs including water temperature checks and tap flushing * Reactive maintenance across plumbing, TMVs, AHUs, plant rooms, pumps and motors * General building services and plant room upkeep * Working as part of a team of 3 engineers Shift pattern: * 4 on, 4 off * 7am–6pm (some flexibility may be required) * 40-hour week * Parking available on site What we're looking for: A time-served Mechanical Engineer with a background in commercial or industrial building services, who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and takes real pride in their site.
