Assistant Site Manager – Industrial New Build Location: Birmingham Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Package Our client is an established main contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality industrial, logistics and commercial developments across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of new projects, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a major new-build industrial scheme in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to develop their career within a growing main contractor, working alongside an experienced site team on a substantial industrial development. The Role: * Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of the project * Coordinating subcontractors and site activities * Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety * Assisting with site logistics, sequencing and programme management * Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and programme * Attending site meetings and coordinating with the project team * Maintaining site records and ensuring construction documentation is up to date The Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or experienced Site Supervisor * Main contractor background preferred * Experience on industrial, logistics, warehouse or commercial new-build projects * Strong understanding of construction processes and site management * Experience working on steel frame projects would be highly advantageous * CSCS and relevant construction qualifications * Strong communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: * £35,000 – £45,000 + package, dependent on experience * Permanent position * Major industrial new-build project * Opportunity to work for a growing main contractor * Genuine career progression towards Site Manager and Senior Site Management positions If you wish to be considered for the role - please apply with your CV today
