Assistant Site Manager – Industrial New Build Location: Gatwick Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Package Our client is an established main contractor specialising in the delivery of industrial, logistics and commercial developments. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to join their project team on a major new-build industrial scheme in the Gatwick area. This role would suit an Assistant Site Manager who is looking to build further experience on large-scale industrial projects and progress their career within a growing main contractor. The Role: * Assisting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project * Coordinating subcontractors and site activities * Monitoring progress, quality and programme * Supporting site logistics and construction sequencing * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained * Carrying out inspections and maintaining site documentation * Attending subcontractor and site meetings * Working closely with the Site Manager, engineers and wider project team The Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor * Main contractor background * Experience within industrial, logistics, warehouse or commercial new build * Steel frame experience highly desirable * Strong understanding of construction processes * CSCS and relevant qualifications * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: * £35,000 – £45,000 + package, dependent on experience * Permanent position * Major industrial new-build project * Growing main contractor with a strong project pipeline * Genuine opportunity for progression into Site Management If you wish to be considered for the role, please apply with your CV today
