A manufacturing company based in Birkenhead has an immediate requirement for a Van Delivery Driver. Distributing its high-value products to retailers throughout the UK, this organisation operates its own fleet of Mercedes Sprinter vans. The successful candidate will be required to follow pre-planned routes, making approximately 6-10 deliveries each day, ensuring the correct products are delivered promptly. Initially starting on a 12-week temporary agreement, a permanent contract will be issued on completion. This is a full-time position, assuring no fewer than 40 hours each week. Benefits * Starting rate of £12.93–£25.86 per hour. * Overtime paidat £19.40 per hour for hours worked over 40 and £25.86 per hour for hours worked over 50. * A typical day's earnings amount to £142.24 gross (10 hours) * Drivers typically work 45-50 hours each week. * Monday to Friday, with lots of opportunities for overtime (no weekends). * Prompt PAYE wage paid weekly each Friday. * All personal daily commuting costs covered * Generous holiday allowance of 25 days plus Bank Holidays annually. * Personal pension scheme provided. * Life assurance and health plan provided.Casual dress. * Three-day paid training period. * Excellent earning potential, with good old-fashioned overtime premiums of time-and-a-half and double time. * This is an accelerated opportunity to permanent employment.
