Sous Chef A wonderful opportunity to work for an exciting and dynamic new brand restaurant in a management position within the kitchen. Working alongside and reporting to our Head Chef, you will be enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about cooking delicious and fresh/seasonal Spanish food. Our Sous Chef will need to drive a high standard of execution and be committed to deliver consistent, beautiful dishes as part of our new restaurant concept. · Supporting senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities · Executes and supervises the preparation, cooking and service of various food, items ensuring consistency and quality · Develops and implements creative menu items that adhere to our Head Chef approval. * Assist the Exec / Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus * Assist the Exec / Head Chef in food purchases while controlling costs · Leads and coaches the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results · Monitors food production, ordering, quality and consistency on a daily basis * Ensure you and your team maintain the highest of standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety What we are looking for: * At least 1-3 years of previous experience as Sous Chef in a professional kitchen * Knowledge of Spanish cuisine desirable but not essential * A stable work history * You have a positive 'can do' attitude and high attention to detail * You are passionate, driven, organised and punctual * Looking for career progression Range of benefits, including: * Highly competitive salary * Share of Tronc * Excellent Training and Career Development opportunities * 28 days holiday (increasing based on length of service) * Company Pension scheme * Opportunities to build a successful career with a new brand restaurant * Uniform and meals on duty * Employee Recognition Programmes and more * Staff discounts for you and your family?
