Rota Coordinator | York Be the person who keeps our Hospital running like clockwork. We're looking for a Rota Coordinator to join our Business Administration Team in York, working closely with our Hospital Leadership Team to ensure the effective coordination of staff rotas. You will play a vital role in maintaining safe staffing levels and supporting operational needs across the hospital. What you'll be doing * Building and maintaining live rotas that flex with sickness, training, leave, and agency cover * Publishing rotas on time and in line with Working Time Regulations * Collaborate with the Hospital Leadership Team to meet unit-specific staffing needs. * Coordinating induction schedules and rota integration so new starters hit the ground running * Keeping our people management system (POD) accurate and up to date * Managing annual leave and sickness cover with managers * Keeping leadership in the loop on staffing plans What you'll bring * GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths * Confident Excel, Word, and Outlook skills * Experience in rota coordination or workforce planning — healthcare setting a bonus * An eye for safe staffing practices * Sharp communication and organisational skills * The ability to juggle priorities independently and as part of a team What's in it for you * £25,299.39 per annum * 38 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata) — plus buy/sell up to 5 extra days * Health Cash Plan & Employee Assistance Programme * Company pension & group life assurance * Eye voucher scheme, free parking, and long-service awards Ready to keep our staffing sharp, compliant, and always one step ahead?
