General Operative 📍 Location: LS5, Leeds 💰 Pay: £12.71 per hour 🕐 Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, Friday 8:30am-5:00pm 📋 Job Type: Temporary initially, with a permanent opportunity for the right person We're currently looking for a General Operative to join a busy printing company based in LS5, Leeds. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working as part of a busy production team, helping with the preparation, picking and packing of printed products. We're looking for someone with the right attitude who is reliable, hardworking and happy to get stuck in. Previous experience is useful, but it's not essential as full training can be provided for the right person. The Role Your day-to-day duties will include: Picking products and materials Packing finished products ready for dispatch Preparing orders Checking products for quality and accuracy Supporting the production team with general duties Keeping your work area clean and tidy Following instructions and production processes Working as part of a team to keep things moving Working Hours Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Thursday: 1-hour lunch 2 x 15-minute breaks Friday: 30-minute lunch 2 x 15-minute breaks What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has a positive attitude Is reliable and punctual Is hardworking and willing to get stuck in Has good attention to detail Can follow instructions Works well as part of a team Is keen to learn The role will start on a temporary basis, with a permanent opportunity available for the right candidate.
