Health and Safety Manager - Waste & Landfill Operations (National Role) The Role Lead risk and assurance across landfill, energy recovery facilities, agricultural services, and construction operations. Establish strategic vision for R&A function, develop team capability, oversee planned maintenance and construction project support, drive risk culture and continuous improvement across nationally distributed sites. What You'll Do Develop and implement risk assurance strategy across multiple waste treatment facilities Lead auditing programme and trend analysis on technical and construction risk Support planned maintenance outages and capital projects Drive consistency in risk management and operational improvements Influence stakeholders across operational sites nationally Champion active risk culture across the business What We Need 5+ years Safety Advisor or Safety Manager experience in waste management, landfill, energy recovery or construction NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) Auditing experience (internal/external) Stakeholder influence and site-based credibility Excellent communication - internal and external facing What We Offer Competitive salary + car allowance/cash alternative Performance bonus (up to 22.5%) Pension scheme, discounts, health support One paid volunteer day annually Development and progression opportunity Hybrid working with national travelGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
